Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of calibration, testing, inspection and related services by MTech Calibration Lab LLP (the Company) to the client (the Client). By placing an order or submitting instruments for service, the Client accepts these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
Services include laboratory calibration, on-site calibration, testing, repair assessment and issuance of calibration certificates. Services are performed in accordance with applicable standards such as NABL and ISO/IEC 17025 where relevant.
- Services apply only to instruments listed in the service order.
- Additional or bespoke services require a separate written agreement.
- The Company may refuse service for unsafe or irreparable instruments.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Information: Provide accurate instrument details and previous calibration records.
- Packaging: Ensure secure packaging for transport; the Company is not liable for transit damage unless transport was arranged by the Company.
- Access: Provide safe access for on-site work and comply with site safety rules.
- Collection: Collect instruments promptly after notification; storage charges may apply for delayed collection.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated. Quotes are valid for the period specified. Payment terms are as per invoice.
- Standard payment terms: 30 days from invoice date unless agreed otherwise.
- Late payments may attract interest and suspension of services.
- Refunds are considered only where services are not deliverable and no work has been performed.
5. Delivery and Turnaround
Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed. The Company will notify the Client of expected delays.
- Force Majeure: The Company is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control.
- Storage: Uncollected items may incur storage fees after the notified collection period.
6. Certificates and Reports
Calibration certificates are issued according to the scope of work and applicable standards. Certificates are valid only for the instrument and configuration tested.
- Certificates must not be altered; discrepancies must be reported within 7 days.
- Re-issuance due to client error may incur charges.
7. Liability and Warranty
The Company performs services with reasonable skill and care. Liability for claims is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Where a defect is established, the Company will re-perform the service or refund the fee for that service.
- Clients should maintain appropriate insurance for equipment and operations.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Client information and calibration results are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed except as required by law, accreditation bodies, or with Client consent. Data is processed in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Faridabad, Haryana. Parties will attempt amicable resolution before formal proceedings.
10. Amendments and Notices
The Company may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be published on the website and apply to services after publication. Notices should be sent to the contact details below.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in reports, certificates and documentation produced by the Company remain the property of the Company unless agreed otherwise. Clients are granted a limited license to use reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
Health and Safety
Clients must ensure a safe working environment for Company personnel. The Company may suspend work if unsafe conditions are identified. Additional costs arising from safety requirements will be charged to the Client.
Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement for material breach if not remedied within a reasonable period after written notice. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

Refunds β Refunds are considered only where services are not deliverable and no work has been performed. If work has commenced, refunds are at the Companyβs discretion and may be prorated.
- Advance payments may be refundable subject to deductions for administrative costs.
- Disputed refunds will be handled through our dispute resolution process.
